Versatility
Concrete pavement is the ideal paving material for all parking lot applications no matter the size. Concrete’s inherent strength make it suitable for heavy duty applications, and with today’s finishing techniques provide for an aesthetically pleasing parking area that mimics natural stone.
Wise Investment
Due to its strength, concrete parking lots require very limited maintenance over the life span of the project. This is vastly different than its competitors that require resealing and resurfacing on a regular basis. Concrete may be slightly higher in some situations on the front side, but factoring in life cycle cost for repair of the alternative pavements, concrete is a better investment.
Cooler and Brighter Surface
Concrete’s naturally bright finish allows for reduced lighting equipment at night which will save money on the front side and also on the power bill over the life of the store. The reflective benefits seen in reduce lighting requirements also translate into a cooler parking surface on hot summer days. Finally, the cooler surface does not negatively effect the environment by releasing the entrapped heat creating an Urban Heat Island.
