Summer Convention Registration Now Open

The 2008 Summer Convention at the Sandestin Beach Hilton is just around the corner and registration is now open. The staff has worked hard to make this year a great convention and we hope you and your family can join us on May 30th – June 2nd, 2008.

For 2008, we have placed a heavy emphasis on improving the Business Meeting. We have invited three outstanding speakers including Joe McInnis, Director of the Alabama Department of Transportation and Ed Sullivan, Chief Economist for the Portland Cement Association. New to the business meeting is an awards program to honor member achievements in safety, environmental stewardship, community relations, training, and promotion. Finally, the association is continuing its focus on the committees by holding committee meetings prior to the start of the business meeting.

In respect to entertainment for 2008, the association is bringing back the very popular Casino Night. On the other night, the association will be introducing the ACIA game show “The Not So Newlywed Game”. This play on the 80’s hit game show will test your knowledge of your spouse.
