ACIF Awards 2009 Scholarships

The Alabama Concrete Industries Foundation would like to congratulate Jordan Luke Adams and Tyler Maloney for being selected the winners of the foundation's 2009 scholarships. The young men are senior Building Science students at Auburn University. Both students have excelled academically, as Jordan carries a 3.65 GPA and Tyler carries a 3.97 GPA. In addition to their outstanding scholastic achievements, both men have gained valuable construction experience interning with construction companies.

The students were presented the $8,000 scholarship checks at the AIA Annual Awards Banquet on January 29 in Birmingham. The ACIF presently provides the largest construction scholarship in the state.

The Alabama Concrete Industries Foundation is a non profit foundation created in 1993. Foundation Trustees include Brad Christopher, Tom Holton, Kevin Mathis, Dan Meine, David Nooney, Bill Roy and Spencer Weitman.
