The Alabama Concrete Industries Association is proud to offer ACI Level I Field Testing Certification, ACI Concrete Strength Certification, and ALDOT Concrete Technology Certification. Unless otherwise contacted, the certification programs will be held in the division offices. The classes will begin at 8:00 am and conclude by 5:00 pm. The ACIA can be reached at 334-265-0501.

Americans With Disabilities Act Policy
Performing the performance section of the ACI exams requires physical activity. If you cannot perform the test due to a disability, you must submit documentation supporting your ADA claim by a doctor. This information must be provided to the Alabama Concrete Industries Association at least two weeks in advance. The Alabama Concrete Industries Assocaition will then forward this information to the American Concrete Institute for an approval process and a remedy to meet the performance exam requirements.
Individuals with temporary injuries are not covered under the ADA. They should reschedule for a future exam session and are required to provide a Doctor’s note clearing them for participation.
**Effective January 1, 2009 all ACI certification fees and concrete technology fees increased for non ACIA members. Member fees will remain $350 for ACI Field Testing, $150 for Concrete Technology, $250 for ACI Concrete Strength, $350 for ACI Aggregate Testing, and $750 for Concrete Special Inspector.
Please note that full payment must be submitted by non ACIA members before books will be mailed. ACIA members will be billed for registration upon receipt of registration forms. Registration for non ACIA members will not be considered complete until check is received from firm.
Cancellation Policy - Cancellations received 7 days prior to start of training programs will be entitled to a return of 50% of enrollment fee. Failure to show for class will result in full billing of members.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. When will my books arrive? A. Two weeks prior to your class date or after payment has been made.
Q. How long will it take for the test results to get back? A. Approximately four weeks for the ACI test.
Q. What do the students need to bring to class? A. Their books, pencil, pen, and calculators. They will need to know their SSN# for the ACI Tests.
Q. What should they wear? A. ACI Level 1 Field Testing does require running test and concrete can be splattered on clothes, therefore work clothes are recommended.
